Arizona has received a lot of national attention due to its controversial policies and standpoints on immigration.
On Monday November 11th, our host John Quinlan was joined by border immigration activists Lelia Pine and “State of Arizona” filmmakers Carlos Sandoval and Catherine Tambini.
The film will be previewed on Wednesday, November 13th at 6:30pm at the Madison Public Library as a part of the Community Cinema-Madison series with a discussion to follow the film. This series gives Madison audiences a chance to learn more in depth about social-justice-themed films in advance of their airing on PBS.
